Get the Perfect Shape for You

With the huge range of shapes and styles in swimsuits and bikinis now, it can be tricky to find the perfect one for you. Do you opt for a two-piece or a suit? Do you go high-neck and sporty? Or would a plunging neckline suit your shape better? Basically, what is going to leave you feeling amazing whether you’re by the pool or strolling down the beach?

There’s lots to consider!

Here, we’re taking a brief look at our top tips for choosing a swimsuit for your specific shape. We’d love to know which one you end up choosing!

Bigger Busts

Blessed with a curvier bust? Sometimes your blessing might not feel like it, especially when you’re shopping for bikinis and swimwear.

In our experience, a larger bust always suits halter neck and plunging styles, like our halter Madrid swimsuit or our low-cut Florence bikini top. The Florence is all about the classic plunge halter shape but comes complete with plenty of support.

Another thing that we wanted to ensure when we made the COSMOKINI range is that you can always get the size you need without compromise. So, that’s why you’ll find our bikini tops and bottoms separate. Need a larger top and smaller bottom? No problem – no sets here.

Smaller Busts

Alternatively, if you’re working with a smaller bust and you’d like to add curves, extra details and ruffled fabric is a great idea. Try our Cannes top for the perfect amount of frill to add shape or a print, like our St Tropez top which will also boost your shape.

If you’re not looking to add curves to a smaller bust – which is obviously perfect too! – your shape will likely suit a sporty vibe. Try our crop top style Toulouse bikini top with a contrast print band and a bit of cheeky lace-up detailing.

Wider Hips

If you’re rocking curves in the hips – often referred to as pear-shaped, but we’re women here, not fruit! – then you might want to accentuate your curves and elongate your legs with high-leg cut bikini bottoms like our Limoges bottoms.

A higher neckline is also super flattering with wider hips to create a sleek silhouette, so why not try our super-sleek Santorini one-piece swimsuit in classic black?

Fuller Tummy

When you have a slightly fuller tummy or torso, frill details on the hips of a swimsuit or bikini can be super feminine and flattering and work to balance your shape and curves. Our cheeky floral print St Tropez bikini bottoms do this to perfection.

Alternatively, a high waist bikini bottom can help to sculpt if you prefer a little more support around the tummy. This is also a super on-trend cut and we cannot get enough. Try our denim-effect ECONYL ® Nylon Toulouse bottoms with the perfect amount of stretch and hold.

Whatever your shape, there’s one major swimsuit tip that we could not leave out. Remember, choose the swimsuit that you love and that makes you feel most confident – no matter what shape and style it is. How you feel is always the most important factor.
